Meet the Founder: Dona Dillon, Esq.

As the founder of The Law Office of Dona Dillon, I have personally handled hundreds of cases, ensuring the utmost excellence for my clients. My clients consistently place their trust in me, and I strive to be the best attorney and counsel anyone can rely on.  

Here, I aim to share important insights about my background and experiences that have shaped me into the outstanding attorney I am today.  

I excelled throughout Santa Monica High School, completed my undergraduate studies at UCLA, and graduated from Southwestern Law School. I served as Student Body President in high school, Associate Chief Justice of the Supreme Court at UCLA, and Director of Student Life in law school. In my first year, I earned the highest grade in criminal law and was selected for an internship at the highly selective Hardcore Gangs Unit at the District Attorney's office in Compton, where I spent the summer prosecuting gang-related murders. This experience taught me about the overcharges faced by accused individuals and the flaws often present in criminal matters.  

After passing the bar in 2018, I founded my first law firm, focusing primarily on personal injury and private criminal defense matters. I have represented hundreds of clients facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to felony life sentences. I have successfully removed life sentences from my clients' charges, including negotiating a reduction from a triple life sentence to just four years—an accomplishment I have yet to see another attorney achieve. I always maintain honesty with my clients, informing them that if I can't secure a favorable outcome, then no one can. My firm also handled child custody cases, representing both fathers and mothers to help them regain custody and visitation rights. Additionally, I established a personal injury section to ensure clients received top-notch care, regardless of their health insurance status, after injuries from accidents or adverse events, all while securing maximum compensation for their pain and suffering.
